Its not clear who will replace Boston.

Regardless of which player is on the field for the first offensive play at wide receiver, Reche Caldwell, Tim Dwight and Eric Parker all figure to see a lot of action, and rookie Kassim Osgood from San Diego State may also garner more playing time.

"We feel like we have several starters," said Schottenheimer. "It might be tied to the play thats called."

The receiving corps should also be bolstered by the return of a healthy Stephen Alexander in the lineup at tight end.
