Hakim is officially listed as questionable for Sundays game on the injury report.

With three tailbacks -- Gary, Shawn Bryson and Avon Cobourne -- still fighting for playing time, Mariucci said he thinks the Lions have a better idea of when to insert each of them based on the situation.

In an article published Wednesday, Pro Football Weekly suggested when they signed Bryson as a free agent, team officials saw him as a pure backup because his speed was an ideal complement to the plodding James Stewart.
With Stewart out for the year, the Lions remain uncertain whether Bryson is capable of playing a featured role, triggering the trade for Gary.
But as SportsLine.com insider Pete Prisco wrote Thursday: "On draft day, the Lions traded running back Aveion Cason to the Cowboys for a seventh-round pick. They used that pick to take a fullback named Brandon Drumm, who they cut.
"Meanwhile, Cason ripped off a 63-yard touchdown run for the Cowboys and appears ready to be a major part of Bill Parcells offense this season.
