Driver was at the teams facilities on Wednesday, wearing a brace to immobilize his neck and head.
In addition to soreness in his neck, Driver continued to experience symptoms that commonly follow a concussion. He no longer feels nauseous, but he still has headaches.
"Things are coming together better now than they had previously," Sherman said of Driver. "He seemed to be fairly encouraged, and previously he was fairly discouraged."

Wesley Walls experienced almost no pain from his injured hamstring during Wednesdays practice and likely will be upgraded to probable on the injury report.
"He had a good practice," Rossley said. "He said at times he didnt feel it at all and other times he felt it, but I dont think it bothered him a whole lot."
Walls sat out Sundays game after sustaining the injury in practice a week ago. Last week it was a sore knee that kept Gonzalez out of the Wednesday workout. This week he has a sore ankle to go with his sore knee, though head coach Dick Vermeil said he would have played had the Chiefs had a game Wednesday.

Fullback Tony Richardson will play this week for the first time without the soft cast hes worn on his left hand sinking breaking his thumb early in training camp.
Though Richardson had two touches in the San Diego game, he has not worked extensively on catching the ball. Vermeil said the Chiefs hope to expand Richardsons role as a runner/receiver now that the cast is off.
