Anderson will line move into the starting lineup with Portis sidelined.','9/28/2003','9:45:00 AM','Sunday'0,2003,217 5789,12,4,'Ferguson Practice Saturday; But Isnt Sure Hell Play...','According to PackersNews.com staffer Dylan B. Tomlinson, after spending most of the week rehabilitating his injured right knee, receiver Robert Ferguson practiced for the first time on Saturday.
Ferguson injured the knee against the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 7. He reinjured it during Week 2 against the Detroit Lions and again during last weeks loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Through it all, Ferguson has played. But on Saturday, he didnt seem convinced hed be on the field for Monday nights game in Chicago.
"Im not declaring anything," Ferguson said after practice. "I was just out there trying to show the coaches what I can do."
It would be a bit of a surprise if Ferguson, who is listed as probable on the teams injury report, is unable to go. Ferguson said there have been discussions about him sitting out Mondays game to get him healthy.
"I cant compare it to past weeks," Ferguson said. "But I know as we get closer to Monday, Im going to want to play."
Reserve running back Nick Luchey practiced for the second straight day with a cast on his left hand. Luchey broke his thumb during Wednesdays practice. He remains listed as questionable.
Head coach Mike Sherman was optimistic Luchey and Ferguson would be able to go on Monday.
"Luchey has improved and Ferguson did some things (Saturday), but were going to have to test their value on game day," Sherman said.
"But as of now, it looks like they could participate in this ballgame."
Wesley Wall also practiced Saturday. He has seen limited action this season as he recovers from a strained hamstring.
"There have been no setbacks, and no soreness," Walls said. "Im not 100 percent yet, but I will be by Monday night."
Running back Najeh Davenport (ankle) was on hand for Saturdays practice, but didnt participate in any drills.','9/28/2003','9:55:00 AM','Sunday'0,2003,218
