In a semi-related note. ...

According to Pro Football Weekly, rookie fullback Justin Griffith has improved his blocking and is becoming a viable option both running and receiving, something that has expanded Atlantas offense.

"Ive got a lot of versatility, and Im learning the rest of what goes into being a fullback in the NFL," Griffith told PFW. "I might not be the biggest guy, but I have a low pad level when I start running and I know how to get that tough one- or two-yard gain."

Griffith said that running backs coach Ollie Wilson has been key in his development.

The Falcons success rate on third-and-7 or longer currently stands at .056.

Theyre one for 18 on third-and-7 or longer and Johnson has completed just 10-of-21 third-down attempts (47.6 percent) for 74 yards (3.5 yards per attempt), and two interceptions.

On other downs, hes completed 35-of-61 (57.3 percent) for 446 yards (7.3 yards per attempt),
