To Lean Heavily On Tomlinson...','According to Chargers.com staff writer David Neville, the Chargers have been doing more juggling on offense this week than a three-armed clown.

When they take the field against the Raiders in Oakland tomorrow, theyll be without their two top receivers, David Boston and Reche Caldwell, and possibly their third, Tim Dwight.

Eric Parker, who is in his second year, and Kassim Osgood, a rookie with one career NFL reception in three games, will be the top two receivers on Sunday. Behind them are rookie Grant Mattos and the recently re-signed Dondre Gilliam, who both have even less experience than Parker and Osgood. Mattos has played in one game; Gilliam in two, both last season.

The Chargers also will be without two of their top three tight ends, Josh Norman and Stephen Alexander. Second-year man Justin Peelle has moved into the starting lineup, and rookie Antonio Gates, who didnt even play football in college, is Peelles back-up.

It should be noted that head coach Marty Schottenheimer hasnt officially ruled Dwight out, but the diminutive speedster was unable to practice all week leaving him at odds with Schottenheimers no-practice/no-play rule and was downgraded from questionable to doubtful on Fridays injury report.
