offense in the near future with Driver and Walls re-entering the picture.

For the record. ... PackersNews.com staff writer Pete Dougherty reports that Walls didnt work extensively in practice Friday but took part in some 11-on-11 drills to test his tender hammy and make sure he could run at full speed in a football setting.

He reported no problems after practice. ...

And in a semi-related note. ... Last weeks loss to the Cardinals prompted some locker room complaints, with more than a few players openly wondering if the offense is becoming predictable and way too conservative.

According to ESPN.com insider Len Pasquarelli, players have been especially critical of the play selection at times in the red zone, where they feel that the staff often tries to force the ball to tailback Ahman Green.','9/27/2003','7:45:00 AM','Saturday'0,2003,195 5767,7,4,'Dillon Ready To Take On Browns...','According to Cincinnati Post staff reporter Kevin Goheen, Corey Dillon began his trot off the practice field Friday, then turned it into a faster-paced jog. No doubt it was partly due to his wish not to talk to the media about his prospects of playing tomorrow in Cleveland against the Browns.

But as Goheen noted, in its own way, his action said it all: Dillon and his strained groin will be ready to go come kickoff.

Thats good news for the Bengals who are desperately in need of an improved ground attack if they are to get their first win of the season. Dillon has totaled just 144 yards this season thanks to injuries and the offenses inability to establish a consistent running game.

If Dillon is to get healthy statistically, this appears to be the week to do so.

Two weeks ago, Baltimores Jamal Lewis broke Dillons NFL single-game rushing record by gaining 295 yards against the Browns. Dillon has had his own share of success against Cleveland. In eight career games, he has gained 941 yards and scored five touchdowns.
