Sylvester Croom said. "The thing that happens in this league is more games are lost than are won. So the first thing is you want a guy out there who wont get us beat.
"Fisher is not a going to get us beat, and -- particularly in the passing game -- he makes plays."
That never was more evident than on Sunday in the second quarter against Arizona, when -- on a second-and-6 play from the Cardinals 32 -- Fisher laid out and hauled in a diving 23-yard reception.
Croom said Fishers role on Monday night against Chicago will be similar to what it was against the Cardinals. Fisher will remain ahead of Davenport and will line up as the lone back when the Packers use a three-receiver formation.

Davenport drew the ire of the coaching staff in Week 2 when he couldnt hang onto the ball against Detroit. He either fumbled or bobbled the ball three times. Then, in practice late last week, Davenport fumbled again during a goal-line play, Croom said.
Against the Cardinals, Davenport played only on special teams and never lined up for a play from scrimmage.
"Hes got to protect the football," Croom said of Davenport. "He put the ball on the ground three times, and
