Vicks rehabilitation is growing more aggressive. Hes doing more weight work involving his lower body, but he still has a pronounced limp. He wont be ready for the Oct. 5 game against Minnesota. After that, the guessing games begin.

The Falcons play Oct. 13 at St. Louis, but Vick almost surely will need more than one week of practice. Besides that, the Rams play on one of the hardest artificial surfaces in the NFL.

The Saints, quarterbacked by Vicks cousin, Aaron Brooks, visit Atlanta Oct. 19.

"Its still sore," Vick said. "Its going to take a lot of treatment. ... To get it to where it needs to be, and where its stable."
