To get Gannons response, the reporter responded, adding it seemed too early to be talking about such a matter.

David Garrard also got in a handful of reps while veteran starter Mark Brunell watched from the sideline with his injured left elbow heavily bandaged.

Asked following practice if his wounded elbow, which required stitches following a first-half mishap in Indianapolis that caused the bone to push through the skin, had improved, Brunell said: "Absolutely, a lot better." He then scurried away.
