','In an article published Friday, ESPN.com senior writer Len Pasquarelli advised readers that a member of Tennessees coaching staff told him not to be surprised if the team starts "force-feeding" rookie receiver Tyrone Calico more playing time in the near future.

The second-round draft choice has just two catches in two games, but both have been for touchdowns, and the Titans desperately need someone to provide a deep threat.

Pasquarelli went on to note that Calico is extremely raw, a player of great athletic ability but limited exposure. Nonetheless, the team might not have much choice but to expand his playing time.

Among the wide receivers, Derrick Mason has 10 catches. The rest of the receiving corps has combined for just seven catches. Drew Bennett, who has started both games, has zero receptions. Safety Scott McGarrahan, who caught a pass on a fake punt last week, has one more catch than Bennett does.

Pasquarelli summed up by reminding us the continued slide of tailback Eddie George, who looked terribly slow in last weeks loss at Indianapolis, will dictate the Titans increasing reliance on quarterback Steve McNair to make plays.

But its tough to make plays when your wide receivers cant get open.
