According to St. Paul Pioneer Press beat man Bill Williamson, Randy Moss has improved his short-field game, which is making him a bigger factor in the red zone.

Thats important because the red zone generally is the only spot where he gets occasional single coverage. Moss is working harder on short routes and, because he has gained 8 to 10 pounds of muscle, he has more confidence in his ability to withstand punishment in the short game.

Williamson summed up by writing: "When you factor in his size and leaping ability, he should be a force near the goal line.
