5716,26,3,'All Systems Go For Bostons Return...','In an article published Friday, Chargers.com staff writer David Neville advised readers it appears all systems are "Go" for David Bostons return to the lineup when the Chargers host the Baltimore Ravens tomorrow.

Boston practiced on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and should be ready to play, according to head coach Marty Schottenheimer.

Boston, who signed as an unrestricted free agent from Arizona in the offseason, has battled a bruised heel through training camp and for the first two weeks of the regular season. He played in the season opener at Kansas City, catching two passes for 20 yards, but was inactive for last weeks game against Denver.

According to Pro Football Weekly, no one is saying anything publicly, but there is growing frustration over Bostons lingering health issues that started early in training camp.

Last week, Schottenheimer left the decision to play up to Boston, who said he did not want to go out on the field at 60 percent and only serve as a decoy.

"The more I keep pounding on it instead of just taking about 10 days to let it rest, then come back full speed, the longer its going to bother me," he said.

And if his failure to hit the field wasnt enough to chafe Schottenheimers hide, my guess is Bostons attempt to pin that failure on the coach surely was.

In case you missed it, the former Ohio State standout went out of his way to make sure everybody knew Schottenheimers no-practice/no-play rule was the reason he wouldnt play against the Broncos.

"Coach Schottenheimer has a rule that if you dont practice in the week that he doesnt want the guy to play," Boston said after missing the first two days of practice last week. "So what Im going to do is rest it this week and hopefully be back next week.

"Im not planning on practicing this week, so he has that rule, if you dont practice
