McNair said the fingers strength isnt great and it still hurts when he takes a direct snap, but he doesnt think his accuracy has been affected too much.

In an article published Thursday, SportsLine.com insider Pete Prisco reported that some who have studied Eddie George on film say he doesnt have it anymore. There were holes open against the Colts last week, but George didnt get through them like he once did.

"They opened and closed before he got through," an unnamed NFC personnel director told Prisco.

George has 88 yards on 35 carries for a 2.5 average. That average is lower than his previous low of 3.0 in 2001.

The difference is that George is healthy, which was supposed to make him revert to his Pro Bowl ways of earlier in his career. That hasnt been the case, and there is word in Nashville that rookie Chris Brown will get carries once hes healthy enough to play in his return from a hamstring injury.

And according to the Sporting News, Brown is expected to make his NFL debut this week. Brown is listed as questionable, but head coach Jeff Fisher lists everyone as questionable. The rookie returned to practice last week and should be ready to act as the Titans No. 3 running back on Sunday.

Frank Wycheck hasnt practiced since suffering a concussion -- his second since the beginning of training camp -- in the opener two weeks ago.
