McNair threw during individual drills and early in a passing drill, but he had to stop because of discomfort in the finger he dislocated in last weeks 33-7 loss to Indianapolis.

"He just couldnt throw," head coach Jeff Fisher said. "It was still swollen and sore. He threw a little bit at the beginning of practice, but we feel like he should be able to do some things tomorrow."

McNair said his finger was worse Wednesday than when he dislocated it during the game.

The Titans listed him as questionable for Sundays game against New Orleans, but there havent been many games in recent years that he hasnt been on the injury report.
