Tom Rossley wanted to attack Minnesotas weak secondary from the start last week, but it backfired when Favre started out off target and the Vikings shredded the Packers defense early. Halfback Ahman Green quickly became a forgotten man (15 carries, 3.5 yards per rush).
However, given the teams situation at wideout, that wont happen this week.
The problem is, Detroit has a good front seven, and like Minnesota, its vulnerability is its secondary. Starting cornerback Chris Cash is on injured reserve. His replacement, Andre Goodman, a third-round pick last year, was called for an interference penalty and missed a tackle on rookie Anquan Boldins 71-yard touchdown reception last week.

As New Orleans Times-Picayune staffer Brian Allee-Walsh noted this morning, Horn, who was sidelined Wednesday and Thursday with a bruised left knee, returned to the practice field Friday.
Afterward, he reported some stiffness and soreness. "Man, its still iffy," he said. "Well see." A reporter replied: "Hey Joe, wink if youre playing."
Horn smiled and winked twice with his right eye. Horn has started all 49 regular-season games since joining the Saints in 2000. He has caught a pass in 63 consecutive games, including his last 14 games with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1999.
