Maynard, Edinger''s holder, said the place-kicker is in his own world when he enters the game.
"If you watch him take his steps back and do his little (routine)," Maynard said, "from rubbing his hands together, to picking up his left leg, and then he kicks his right toe, then he spins. If you watch it, he does it exactly the same every single time. I bet he''s to the inch, every. ... Single. ... Time.
"He''s got a routine he does, he doesn''t let anything outside of that affect him. Once he gets on the field, he''s not thinking about the wind, he''s not thinking about the other team calling timeout, he''s not thinking about me holding, Pat [Mannelly] snapping. He''s just thinking about his kick."
Or as LeGere suggested: "He''s like the Rain Man of kickers."
"He is," Maynard said, laughing. "You should drop a box of toothpicks in front of him ands see what he does."
Edinger knows what approach works best for his job, and he seems to have mastered it.
"You just have to be calm and cool, and if you do miss, you can''t let it bother you," he said. "It''s done with, you can''t get it back. Forget about it and go on to the next one. It''s just concentrating, working hard at practice and focusing on what kick you have coming up at the time."

And as noted by the Sports XChange, Booker, coming off his most productive game of the season (four catches, 94 yards) faces a New Orleans team that he had eight catches against last season for 97 yards and a TD.
Also according to the XChange, Anthony Thomas rushed for 111 yards on 27 carries last season against the Saints, his only 100-yard day of the season. He already has two this season; David Terrell, who was shut out last week, had one catch
