Plummer partially separated his shoulder while diving for a first down in the first half against San Diego on Sept. 14. He aggravated the injury last weekend against the Chiefs when he was knocked to the ground while attempting a pass.
Plummer said he feels about the same as he did following the Chargers'' game, but the soreness is in a different area.
"I landed on it a little differently," Plummer said. "I was thrown into it on the ground so I think there''s more tenderness on it, whereas in San Diego I really didn''t land on it quite as hard."
Plummer bounced back from the original injury to throw two touchdown passes the next week against Oakland, but he also had an extra day of recovery since that game was on a Monday night.
"It''s still tender, but it is still early in the week," Plummer said. "I''m not going to say I can''t play or that I can for sure, but we''ll see how it keeps responding. Probably the same routine we did heading up to the Oakland game."

Veteran tight end Shannon Sharpe skipped Wednesday''s practice after twisting his knee in the Chiefs game. Test results Monday showed no structural damage, but Shanahan said he was still quite sore.
Sharpe acted like he was going to play, blaming age for being listed as questionable on the injury report.
"This is Week 6, year 14. That''s what it is," the 35-year-old Sharpe said. "There''s no way to get around it. I work out every year and take care of my body as best I can. I can get the body stronger and get it in better shape, but I can''t make the body younger. Your body knows that."

According to Pro Football Weekly, some concerns arose when the team''s running game was shut down against the Lions in Week 4 without the services of Clinton Portis. But Shanahan said it had more to do with a lack of blocking than the play of Mike Anderson
