With Excitable Hasselbeck...','According to Seattle Times beat man Jos Miguel Romero, Matt Hasselbeck, as head coach Mike Holmgren has mentioned in the past, is an excitable young player who often gets himself a little too fired up before games.

It''s an area the coach would like to see Hasselbeck address, especially now that the Packers and the emotional return for both Hasselbeck and Holmgren, among other Seahawks coaches, are just a day away.

Other than Hasselbeck''s need to rein in his emotions, Holmgren is happy with his quarterback''s play this season.

"He comes out there like a young colt a little bit, and as a result we missed a couple of things early in the games and then we kind of settle in and we play better," Holmgren said. "That''s kind of what''s happened there, and then in a couple of games we''ve played, I''ve taken the ball out of his hands a little bit and run the ball and worked the clock and done some of those things. I think he''s right on schedule."

Hasselbeck said he figures the game means more to Holmgren than to himself. Hasselbeck spent only three years in Green Bay after being drafted in the sixth round in 1998, compared to Holmgren''s seven years.

"I think he is a little worried that I will be distracted, and this is an important game to me, but it is obviously more important to him," Hasselbeck said. "He accomplished a lot of things there, and like I told him, there are no streets named after me in Green Bay. I''m just going to approach it like any other game and hope that will work."
