end zone where he snatched Green''s pass for a 26-yard touchdown.
Later, Gonzalez beat cornerback Bhawoh Jue on a fly up the seam, hauled in another perfect Green pass and ended up with a 67-yard catch and run -- the longest play turned in by a tight end this season.
Carter went on to suggest those of us jumping on the "Jeremy Shockey is the best tight end in football" bus, should ponder this: Gonzalez has seven catches for 208 yards and a touchdown in the last two games.

The evolution of the Air Coryell offense started in San Diego with Dan Fouts deciding among Kellen Winslow, Charlie Joiner, Wes Chandler and Chuck Muncie and kept growing in St. Louis where Kurt Warner worked with Isaac Bruce, Torry Holt, Az-Hakim and Marshall Faulk.
