an amazing 4.29 time during one of the dozen or so 40-yard dashes he ran last week. Then on Wednesday, he participated in his first full practice of the season and was so impressive the club decided to remove him from the league''s physically unable to perform list.
"I was only running about 70 percent, and I ran 4.3, so I wasn''t even opening myself up," said Bennett, a former Olympics 200-meter hopeful before settling on football. "I''m just a natural-born runner. I''ll slow down when I get to be about 40 or 50 years old."

"Teams have to defend our run, and it has opened things up for our offense," Dalton said. "I don''t think there''s any need to rush at all. We have an excellent committee of running backs."
Given the team''s 6-0 record and the solid performance of his offense, head coach Mike Tice was asked if he wants Bennett to peak around mid-December, providing his offense quite a boost.
"That''s very accurate," he replied.
Bennett, who is currently wearing plastic orthotics in his shoes to help protect the injury, said his greatest challenge will be mental.
"The biggest thing for me is just having to go out, practice and forget about my foot," he said. "Forget that it was hurt."
He also said conditioning is a concern.
"I could get a ball and go 100 yards, but I might cramp
