It''s probably worth noting that Davis praised backup James Jackson for his work in subbing for Green. Jackson carried five times for 27 yards, caught two passes for 22 and also had a 39-yard kickoff return in the first quarter.

Bennett, who rushed for 1,296 yards last year and played in the Pro Bowl, had surgery in July to repair a broken bone in his left foot.
"He looks really good," head coach Mike Tice said. "I was tired of him bugging me."
The Vikings can wait three weeks before adding Bennett to the active roster, when they''ll have to release someone to make room for him.
And in an article published Monday, Pro Football Weekly cited team sources as saying Bennett is as close to a sure thing as it gets that he will play against Green Bay on Nov. 2. Bennett grew up in Milwaukee and wants to be on the field for Round Two versus the Pack.
But Tice, who is clearly intent on pacing his lead runner, will have final say in the matter....
