And in an article published Monday, Pro Football Weekly cited team sources as saying Bennett is as close to a sure thing as it gets that he will play against Green Bay on Nov. 2. Bennett grew up in Milwaukee and wants to be on the field for Round Two versus the Pack.

But Tice, who is clearly intent on pacing his lead runner, will have final say in the matter....
