Parcells and offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon and quarterback coach Sean Payton have created is a ''tweener.

The Cowboys do a little bit of everything, mostly what their players show they can do.

"Philosophically, I have always tried to integrate the players that are currently available into the system and accentuate their strengths and do what they can do," Parcells said. "That just lets you get to be a little more diverse with what you want to do from week to week, rather than being kind of stuck on something because that is the only option you really have."

The Cowboys simply went to something else. They leaned on Troy Hambrick against the Jets as he had his first 100-yard game as a starter. They squeaked by against the Eagles by controlling the clock and using some trickery.

Which is kind of what Campbell is talking about.

He doesn''t know how much longer the Cowboys can continue to squeak by. Things are bound to catch up with them, which means Parcells won''t be far behind.

"Parcells will get after you and will say, ''You got to pick it up. You got to do this. I shouldn''t have even brought you this weekend. You got a free place to stay and a free meal and you didn''t do anything,''" Campbell said. "And [Carthon] is like, ''You are not
