"Rhodes is a great coordinator and he has a lot of great players so I wouldn''t be surprised if it''s a blitz period all day," he said.

That''s where Chandler''s comfort zone in the offense and quick release may help a struggling offensive line. Stewart sometimes held onto the ball a shade too long in the pocket, either waiting for a receiver to get open or to trying make a play with his feet.

In some cases, that extra split-second made him harder to protect. So while Chandler may be far less mobile than Stewart, in some ways he could be more difficult to sack.

"He feels a lot more comfortable with what we''re trying to do," Shoop said. "Our sacks didn''t come strictly because of the quarterback position and not strictly because of running back blocking or offensive line blocking. But certainly Chris recognizes his role in the scheme of getting rid of the ball."

Added Jauron: "I don''t know if [the offense] will be more comfortable or less but it will be a different timing type of game in our pocket."
