-- and more times than not, made up for -- the offense''s effort. Now the Bucs have an offense to complement their top-notch defense.
This season, the Bucs are averaging 25 points a game.
During the Tony Dungy era (1996-2001), the Bucs failed to put up double digits 17 times. Since Jon Gruden came aboard last year, Tampa Bay''s offense has failed only twice to produce a double-digit score -- in the 17-7 loss to Pittsburgh last season and this year''s 12-9 overtime loss to Carolina.
