at Jacksonville, Turner might have to come up with a new wrinkle. The Dolphins will face a Jaguars team that has stopped the run effectively all season, allowing only 3 yards per carry while facing top backs such as LaDainian Tomlinson, Stephen Davis and Edgerrin James.

But as Cole suggested, Turner will almost certainly have an answer, as he did against New York. The McKnight play was in the game plan all week.

"We saw that play in there the first day we got the game plan, like he knew it was going to be there," fullback Rob Konrad said, still marveling at Turner''s foresight.

"That play is supposed to get about 10, 15, maybe 20 yards if you do it right," Bowens said. "That''s not supposed to go the distance."

But the play was one of four big ones that stemmed from minor changes made by Turner -- alterations of basic plays run earlier.

Later in the first half, Konrad
