for an average of 22.5 yards.

His number of touches in the offense have increased each week from a low of two in the season opener against Tampa Bay to a high of 15 (11 carries, four catches) last week against Washington.

It might not be a coincidence that in the team''s two losses had a total of nine touches, and in the two wins he had a total of 27, including two touchdown runs.

McNabb has had just one decent game so far. That was the Eagles'' September 28 win over the Buffalo Bills when he completed 18 of 29 passes for 173 yards and no interceptions.

In the Eagles'' other three games against Tampa Bay, New England and Washington, he completed just 47.3 percent of his passes, averaged a puny 4.38 yards per attempt and averaged an interception every
