According to the Sports XChange, the Titans will try to force the issue with their rushing attack against a team they should beat. Robert Holcombe may work some as a lead blocker for Eddie George, who''s struggled so far this year.

Still, head coach Jeff Fisher has made it clear that against defenses that stack up against the run the Titans are not going to hesitate to throw.

The Titans stand their best chance to move on the ground by running out of pass formations and trying rookie halfback Chris Brown on for size.

Tight end Shad Meier, who was bothered by post concussion symptoms early in the week, returned to practice Friday and will play as usual tomorrow.

Which is good news.

Used to having three tight ends, they''ve played with two since Frank Wycheck was injured in the opener.

If Erron Kinney were the only available tight end Sunday, the Titans would have to cut back significantly in the packages they could employ.

By the way, Kinney missed some practice time this week because his newborn baby had some complications. Fisher said the problems weren''t serious at this point.

Wycheck, who is struggling to overcome post concussion problems of his own, worked with the scout team Thursday. However, he won''t return this week.

"I still feel some headaches at night, but I feel like I can do a little more all the time," Wycheck said. "That''s encouraging."

Wycheck visited concussion specialist Dr. Joseph Maroon in Pittsburgh last week and was scheduled
