When he gets a lot of carries, Alexander feels he naturally will play better. Last week at Green Bay he carried 20 times for 102 yards, his 10th career 100-yard rushing game.

Had the Green Bay game been closer, Alexander feels he would have worn the defense down with his running, because the Seahawks established the run early but had to abandon it in the second half when they got behind by more than two scores.

"Once you start getting over 20 carries and you pound on a team enough, somebody will overcompensate," Alexander said. "Somebody will run over there to try and make a play, and I''ll run where they were supposed to be."

Rookie kicker Josh Brown made some history in Green Bay last Sunday.

With a 58-yard field goal to end the first half, Brown set Seahawk and Lambeau Field records.

Brown broke the Seahawks record of 55 yards (set by John Kasay in the 1993 season against Kansas City).
