field goal.

On New York''s next series, all three plays were centered on Joyce, who dropped a pass and failed to gain enough to produce a first down. The Giants were forced to punt and Miami then drove for the clinching score. As noted by the Sports XChange, with the Patriots coming off their most productive running game of the season, it will be interesting to see how they attack New York''s defense.

Although they''re giving up just over 100 yards per game and 4 yards per carry, the Giants received a boost from defensive tackle Keith Hamilton''s return to action last Sunday. The Giants held Miami running back Ricky Williams to just 39 yards.

The Patriots piled up 161 rushing yards last week against a talented Titans defense, but it used Tennessee''s upfield movement against it while running right at it using traps rather than to the edges with some of the toss sweeps that have become a staple of the offense.

The Giants will also be tough to run outside against because of their speed at linebacker, but the defensive front plays more of a read-and-react scheme which means the Patriots will physically have to move New York defenders off the ball rather than use their own movement against them.
