In an article published Thursday, FOX Sports insider John Czarnecki noted that Fassel''s decision to sit Tiki Barber, his best player, during a critical stretch of the second half against Miami raised more than a few eyebrows.
Knowing that he didn''t have kicker Matt Bryant (strained hamstring in the first half), Fassel had to play to score touchdowns in the second half. Instead of giving the ball to Barber, he put the game in the hands of 5-7, 181-pound Delvin Joyce, one of his most diminutive players.
