all along that once Garcia is 100-percent, the starting job is once again his.

"No matter what he did, Carolinas running back couldnt duck questions about facing the Washington Redskins and head coach Steve Spurrier this week."
Released in the offseason after seven seasons with the Redskins -- some say it was salary-cap related, others that Davis just didnt fit into Spurriers pass-happy scheme -- few believed Davis Wednesday when he claimed Sundays game against Washington wasnt that big a deal.
"I treat them all the same," he said with a straight face. "Thats the type of person I am -- I dont try to make it more than what it really is.
"Im just a football player that loves to play the game. It just so happens this week were playing my ex-team."
If Davis plays, that is.
The fact is Davis status remains uncertain at this point. He missed last weeks win over Tampa Bay with a sprained ankle and did not practice on Wednesday, although he did do some light running on the side.
He said his ankle -- the team and Davis have steadfastly refused to identify which one is actually hurt and which Fryer contends "its impossible to tell from watching
