According to the Sporting News, Ward practiced Wednesday despite suffering from a case of pink eye.
Tight end Jay Riemersma, listed as questionable with a sprained MCL, practiced Wednesday and Thursday and could be upgraded Friday.','11/6/2003','7:05:00 PM','Thursday',503 6073,6,10,'Booker Makes It Through Another Practice...','According to the teams official web site, Marty Booker practiced without restrictions for a second straight day Thursday and is expected to play Sunday when the Bears visit the Lions. Booker has missed the last three games with a sprained ankle sustained while running a reverse in a loss to New Orleans.
"Marty had another good day of practice, so Im optimistic about that one," head coach Dick Jauron said after Thursdays session was over. "I think he should be OK, but well see again (later in the week). You never know, but thats two good days in a row he hasnt complained at all. That one looks pretty good."

Dez White continues to receive Jaurons support despite several dropped passes in last Sundays game against San Diego.
According to DailySouthtown.com staff writer Gene Chamberlain, Jauron refused to blame White for a dropped pass that would have been a touchdown. He said White had only one dropped pass in Sundays game. Numerous observers in the press box gave the fourth-year receiver three drops.
"Dez had seven catches on Sunday and he dropped one ball, in my opinion," Jauron said. "He dropped a third-down catch on the sideline.
"The one in the end zone, I thought the defender had his arm right in the area where the ball came."
Jauron fixed some blame for the end-zone incompletion on Chris Chandler.
"I think if Chris had that ball back he would have liked to have thrown it higher," Jauron said. "He normally does."
