As noted by the Sports XChange, Jerome Bettis ran for 142 yards on 36 carries and three touchdowns the last time the Steelers played the Cardinals, in 1997. Bettis has only 220 yards this season and three touchdowns and the Steelers have not rushed for more than 138 in a game. ...
Antwaan Randle El has half as many runs from scrimmage (10) as he does receptions (20). Hes the teams third-leading rusher with 60 yards.
Plaxico Burress, who caught seven TD passes last season, has just one at the midway point in 34 receptions. He is on pace to have his third straight 1,000-yard season receiving with 511 yards.
Burress was held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday in order to rest his sore shoulder. The former Michigan State star remains probable at this point and theres no reason to believe he wont start and
