Halfback Domanick Davis and Andre Johnson, both rookies, have 483 rushing yards and 559 receiving yards, respectively. They are on pace for 966 (Davis) and 1,118 (Johnson) yards. Never before in NFL history have rookie teammates posted 1,000-yard rushing and receiving seasons.
In fact, the only thing capable of slowing Davis down were the bruised pectoral muscle and rib that sidelined him for miss most of the second half against Carolina last Sunday.

"Stephen Davis is still day-to-day," Fox said. "We rested him again today. He is still listed as questionable."
Pressed for more on Davis, the coach tersely replied: "It is going to be up until game time. We will keep treating [him]."
For what its worth, Davis was not available for interviews during open locker room Wednesday, but he did take part in a conference call with the Tampa Bay media, but was hesitant to talk about his ankle.
"My ankle is doing good," Davis said. "Im just rehabbing it. Its sore, but Im fine."
