According to HoustonTexans.com staff writer Carter Toole, even though he fully expects Carr to play this weekend, Banks is approaching this week of preparation just like every other week. A game, or an ankle, can turn on any snap and Banks knows he has to be ready.
"I wont get as many reps this week because David is going to test it today and tomorrow," Banks said. "If I know Dave, hes going to be out there and Im there to support him every step of the way.
"I just have to be ready in case he rolls it again."

Booker also practiced last Wednesday, but his ankle was sore and stiff the next morning. The fifth-year pro is hoping for better results this time.
"I was full-go today, no limitations," said Booker, who is listed as questionable. "I wasnt really limited last week. I just wasnt feeling it, wasnt ready, and thats why I sat out.
"I went through the full practice (Wednesday), even sat around during special teams and it didnt really get stiff on me, so that was a plus. Well find out [Thursday] morning.
"If I come in and its really aching and bothering me like it did last week, who knows? But Ive got a real good strong feeling about it that it will be all right and I might be out there Sunday."
Booker isnt the only one eager to see how his ankle responds.
"Marty had a pretty good day of practice, but he practiced last Wednesday too, so I am anxious to see how he comes back (Thursday)," said head coach Dick
