After the first regular season game, a win at Dallas in which Price had two catches, he suggested publicly that he wasnt being deployed frequently enough in the slot. A week later, after a loss to the Redskins in which he caught two more, he suddenly sounded like some of the NFLs more egotistical wideouts.
"I just want the ball. Itd be one thing if I was getting opportunities and I wasnt producing," said Price, who was acquired when the Falcons traded their first-round draft choice to Buffalo. "But when youre brought here and they specifically tell you that youre brought here to do this and do that, and youre not getting the opportunity to do it, thats the frustrating part."
Price seemed giddy again after catching a 70-yard touchdown pass from Vick in practice Friday. And when the Falcons play at Houston today, he may get a chance to catch a real pass from the player he said, "is the main reason I came here."
"I think I was misunderstood, and everybody basically threw me out there like I was [49ers wideout Terrell Owens] or [Bucs wideout] Keyshawn [Johnson]," Price said Friday. "Ive stepped back. ..."

Among the many reasons the Falcons need Vick to return is so they can get something going on third downs, where Atlanta is ranked last in the NFL with a paltry 24.8 percent conversion rate.
Last season, Vick was second in the NFC with an 89.9 passer rating on third downs, and on 119 third-down pass attempts, he completed 62, and 50 were for first downs (42 percent).
Contrast that with Doug Johnsons 56 third-down passes this season, which have been good for just 12 first downs (21 percent), and Kurt Kittners ratio of nine conversions in 39 third-down pass attempts (23 percent) and you get the idea.
Also, Vick ran for 18 first downs on third down last season. Johnsons run for one, Kittner two. Overall, Vick converted 44 percent of all third downs last season. Kittners converted 26 percent,
