Martz said Goodspeed was "outstanding."
Goodspeed wasnt signed until Oct. 28, and then was released the following week before the Rams game against Baltimore. He was re-signed Nov. 11, and has impressed Martz ever since. It hasnt hurt Goodspeed to have previously played in San Diego in a similar offense to what the Rams run.
Said Martz, "Hes played in this offense with the Chargers when he was down there. Everything is kind of the same when Norv [Turner] was there. They were using the same terminology down there. Hes played, his body type -- all of the things are just natural there. Hes very smooth and picks things up, does not make mistakes. Hes really kind of what were looking for in a lot of respects. ..."

Also according to the XChange, Faulk took more snaps than usual in Wednesdays practice because he been feeling fine following earlier knee surgery. The veteran superstar has reached 100 yards rushing each of the last two weeks.

In both the Jets comeback victories, over Oakland and Jacksonville, Sowell had clutch catches to spark key drives, receptions that belie his powerful build and his reputation as a career backup and special teams player.
Against the Raiders, Sowell made an over-the-shoulder 44-yard catch and, four plays later, caught a 3-yard touchdown to force overtime. The Jets won, 27-24.
