Randy Moss has been fined by the NFL -- again.
The Minnesota Vikings star receiver was notified by the league that he was fined $5,000 for spiking a ball at the foot of Detroit cornerback Dre Bly.
Moss was penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct on the play.
Moss latest fine brings his total to more than $100,000 since 1999.
Tice defended Moss this week, saying it was a bad penalty. Tice said Moss told him that he didnt know Bly, who pushed Moss hard out of bounds, was behind him. ...
For what its worth, Moss has 19 receptions for 340 yards (17.9), three touchdowns and a long reception of 44 in three games against the Rams. In his only game against the Rams, a 40-29 loss in 2000, Daunte Culpepper completed 21 of 33 passes (63.6) for 221 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions and a QB rating of 113.3. He also ran four times for 37 yards (9.3) and one touchdown.
