According to the Sports XChange, Horn was not happy with his secondary role against the Eagles last Sunday and broke his 36-day silence to the media in an interview with the teams flagship radio station after the game.
Horn caught only four passes for 76 yards and referred to himself as a "just in case" wide receiver, complaining the Saints only go to him when they get behind on the scoreboard.
"Joes a competitor," Haslett said. "Hed like to have the football, and we want to get Joe the football. It wasnt like we werent moving the football; we had nearly 500 yards in offense. But he had just 1 catch for 15 yards Sunday, and he has not averaged more than 10 yards per catch in any of the past four games.
During that stretch, White has 14 catches for 130 yards, and he had two drops last week and another deep ball on which he didnt appear to make an all-out effort to catch. He has come in for a lot of criticism in the media this week.
"Thats tough," said fellow receiver Marty Booker. "Hes been going through that since hes been here. You dont expect to go out there and have a perfect game.
"There are going to be some misplays out there. It looks so bad because we dont get that many opportunities, and thats the only thing that sticks (in peoples minds)."
