the quality Baltimore defense, he connected on five touchdown passes with no interceptions.
It lifted his passer rating above 90, making him the second-highest-rated passer in the NFC, behind Minnesotas Daunte Culpepper.
And it absolutely wowed his backup, veteran Trent Dilfer, who has rarely seen such performances.
"I think its as well as Ive ever seen a quarterback play in person," Dilfer said. "I couldnt be more impressed. The things he does, the things he is doing, in my 10 years Ive only seen one guy do it and that is [Brett] Favre."
Hasselbeck has thrown eight touchdowns and just one interception in the last four games, giving him 19 and 8 for the season.
It goes beyond the numbers, though, Dilfer points out.
"Theres one guy open in the play, and its not necessarily his first read, and he hits him for a touchdown," Dilfer said of Hasselbeck. "He sees blitzes coming that really, maybe he shouldnt see. He buys time with his athleticism, he throws the ball from different angles, he does stuff that truly -- and I have never said this about another player -- I am envious of. Hes special. ..."

Reserve halfback Maurice Morris got only one carry for two yards against Baltimore although the coaching staff stressed that it was going to try to work Morris into the game more as a change-up to starter Shaun Alexander.
Even though hes not listed on this weeks injury report, Morris has been battling a sore foot this month and the Sporting News suggests his recent inactivity has more to do with that injury than anything else.','11/28/2003','7:55:00 AM','Friday',695 6265,1,13,'Shipp Misses Another Practice; Expected To Play As Usual...','Starting halfback Marcel Shipp was held out of practice for a second straight day Thursday.
