Although the Steelers gave up 30 points in a loss to San Francisco last Monday, Butch Davis expects a stiff defensive challenge Sunday. He isnt changing much in his preparations despite moves that have given more playing time to Townsend and Polamalu.
"They havent played significantly enough, and we dont know if theyll go back to the original starters," Butch Davis said. "Even though theyve changed some people, they havent changed philosophies or schemes. Theyre still doing the same things theyve done."
Holcomb is preparing for anything from an opponent that has a 3-7 record and is in need of a win.
"They can change their whole game plan," Holcomb said. "Im sure well see something different. Theyre the Steelers, and theyre going to bring what brought them. ... Bringing pressure and things like that. Theyll probably change a little bit, but Im sure theyll revert back to what theyve always done."

In an article published Monday, Pro Football Weekly noted that when Cleveland spent a fourth-round pick on halfback Lee Suggs in last Aprils draft, it was widely thought Suggs was selected to provide insurance for backups Jamel White and James Jackson.
However, it now appears that Suggs was also (wisely) selected as insurance against any off-the-field problems encountered by troubled starter William Green.
