Linehan and Culpepper said the Vikings have enough talent at receiver to support Moss, not to mention resurgent tight end Jim Kleinsasser. But Linehan added that the Vikings must continue to look for ways to get their star receiver the ball. One play theyre thinking of utilizing more is the classic slant.

"Im happy with them," Linehan said of his receivers. "Yeah, theyre young. But I think youll see them improve all the time, and were going to end up with a real fine group of receivers. ..."

For the record, Bates was added to Fridays updated injury report, listed as probable after a strained hamstring limited him during Thursdays practice.
