Green was arrested Oct. 27 after police said they spotted him driving erratically just a few hours after leaving the Browns training facility. Police said he failed a field sobriety test and a breath test, and had a bag of marijuana in his car.
The alleged stabbing in Greens home came while the second-year back from Boston College was serving his NFL-imposed suspension for an alcohol violation.
The Browns suspended him for the Nov. 9 game at Kansas City for "conduct detrimental to the team" after his DUI arrest. Green rushed for 887 yards during his rookie season, helping the Browns qualify for the playoffs.
According to Akron Beacon Journal staff writer Marla Ridenour, spokesman Steve Alic said the NFL had no comment on a published report that Green may have violated terms of his suspension by drinking two beers at the Hard Rock Cafe on Tuesday night.
For the record, Green is currently in Stage 2 of the leagues Substance Abuse program, meaning either of these latest developments -- the adult beverages at the Hard Rock or the weed found at his house -- are sufficient to move him into Stage 3.
