Hes still listed as probable for the game.
Taylor said he practiced only in individual drills Thursday, but Del Rio said, "He practiced a little bit. He ran around pretty good. He ran some team drills. He didnt have any full contact work, but were not doing much full contact work on Thursdays at this time of year."
As noted by the Sports XChange, the Jaguars plan to run the ball against the leagues worst ranked rushing defense when they take on the Jets this weekend.
If Taylor has problems, they can spell him with Chris Fuamatu-Maafala and LaBrandon Toefield. If they can run the ball, they put less of a burden on rookie quarterback Byron Leftwich, who has turned the ball over 17 times in seven games. Hes turned it over 16 times in the five losses and just once in the two wins.

Veteran quarterback Mark Brunell continues to work with the scout team and will remain the third team emergency quarterback against the Jets because hes still not ready to play in a game.
"Its not whether I can throw a football. Its a matter of taking a hit and landing on it [elbow] again. They want to make sure it heals up as much as it needs to. Im taking it one week at a time. My role is to get the defense ready along with David [Garrard]," he said.
