Brooks has turned in some poor performances in the past when he presses on the field, and PFW suggests he he put a lot of pressure on himself early in the season not only to be more vocal, but also to lead by example.

The result was that he lost his focus and still forced plays, problems that plagued his first two full years as a starter.

There are some who believe that Brooks never will make the jump to being a superstar, but it seems the Saints are fine with that scenario. Team observers say the front office and coaching staff are 100 percent behind Brooks, and there is no question who will be the teams quarterback in the future. ...
