to put a waiver claim on former Browns receiver Kevin Johnson. Other than T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who has missed the entire season with a hamstring injury, the Bengals have no veteran depth behind Johnson and Warrick, and that likely was the reason for their interest in the former Syracuse star. Taylor was sidelined for all but one carry in the fourth quarter of Sundays game against the Titans due to a twisted knee and a thigh bruise. Tests performed Monday showed no damage.

Taylor, prone to injuries early in his career, is seeking to play in his 27th straight game for the Jaguars, who play the Jets on Sunday. He said he has full flexibility in his leg, a stark contrast from when he could barely move it Monday.
"I dont want to say its a definite that Ill be there" Sunday, Taylor said. "Im trying to stay positive about everything. Right now I probably will. If I do go, I will be at full speed. Half-speed isnt really good, especially at this time of year."

"It came to a point where it was over (in Cleveland)," he said although he still seems puzzled why the receivers in Cleveland bashed him after he left.
