starting fullback Bryan Johnson, who suffered a concussion last Sunday and missed much of practice this week. Johnson, the only other fullback on Washingtons roster besides Cartwright, did practice yesterday with a new helmet and should be ready to play tomorrow.
Johnsons uncertain status left Cartwright bouncing between backfield positions.
"Ive been running a little bit at fullback and at tailback all week," Cartwright said. "If Bryans able to stay up, Ill probably play a little more tailback. If he goes down, Ill probably play fullback."
Cartwrights versatility has won him plenty of support within the Redskins organization.
"Rock has not exceeded my expectations," Jackson said. "What he did last week was very surprising to many. But I witness it out here on the practice field, and I know he has that kind of ability. The thing I love about him most is that when you call on him, he responds...."

Morton, who missed last weeks game with a sprained ankle, will return kickoffs and punts and be available at tailback if needed.

According to the Sports XChange, Washington wants to continue to keep Patrick Ramsey clean. Ramsey was sacked 26 times in the first eight games but no times last weekend by Seattle, in large part due to a game plan that had him getting rid of the ball quickly and occasionally rolling out.
Expect a similar blueprint this weekend.
