Add to that the mystifying disappearance of Drew Bledsoe as a bona fide stud passer, and Moulds hasnt had an easy time of it. ...

Also according to PFW, Willis McGahee may be on the active roster finally, but hes reportedly still favoring his rehabbed leg and is not close to getting on the field for any extended duty during game time.','11/15/2003','7:45:00 AM','Saturday',571 6141,10,11,'Elam A "Dreaded Game-Time Decision..."','According to the Associated Press, Jason Elams status for tomorrow afternoons game against the Chargers will be determined by a "Dreaded Game-Time Decision." Elam strained his groin against New England on Nov. 3. He was listed as questionable on the Broncos injury report.
Thursday, Elam kicked field goals in the 30- to 35-yard range at about three-quarters speed. He says he feels hes progressing -- quote -- "pretty well."
The Broncos did no kicking during yesterdays practice.
If Elam cant play against the Chargers, punter Micah Knorr will kick field goals and extra points. Knorr shared snaps with Elam in practices this week and has "been pretty consistent in practice," according to head coach Mike Shanahan.
Shanahan says hes pleased with the progress of Jake Plummer. Plummer has missed the last three games with a broken left foot but is expected to start on Sunday.
According to the coach, Plummer had a "heck of a week" of practice, and after showing some initial rust Monday "looked quite comfortable" the remaining three practices. "So thats a good sign."
And finally. ...
Ed McCaffreys status will also be determined just before kickoff.
