Henson has also agreed to an eight-year contract with his new team.
Glazer added that Hensons deal is unique -- its an eight-year deal that would void to four years if he plays in 15 percent of the Cowboys snaps this year. Whether the deal voids or not he will earn $3.5 million in guaranteed money. If he voids the deal, hell get the entire $3.5 million after next season. If he doesnt void hell get the money over eight years.
According to Associated Press writer Mark Babineck, three other teams expressed serious interest in Henson: Cleveland, St. Louis and Buffalo. Henson, 24, worked out for 20 teams in Houston earlier this offseason.
On Thursday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he was intrigued by Henson, who worked out for Dallas on March 1. And on Friday, Jones hammered out the details.
